How to Restore Jedox Report
In this guide, it will help you to restore report from Backup installation folder, this will guide you if in case you forgot to back up the .pb file from report manager but you managed to backup the entire installation folder.
- Stop the entire Services
- Copy the Report folder from Back up directory to Current Configuration Directory “../Jedox Suite/Storage”:
3. Copy its corresponding data base from Olap database directory “../Jedox Suite/olap/data” :
4. Start Jedox Services
Note: If it happens that folder of the backup reporting folder is already exist in the new installation path (seen in the screenshot below):
Then just Copy the backup folder to new installation path and Rename it accordingly:
In this example from the back up folder “fgrp10001″ already exist in the new installation path then rename it to “fgrp10005 ” seen in the screenshot below:
Same thing needed to be done in Olap Directory “C:\Program Files (x86)\Jedox\Jedox Suite\olap\data”:
Inside this folder Look for the cube/s in which line/s contains the OLD folder group name and replace it to the new folder group name:
